Job Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Manager, Costing to lead our product costing and cost analysis functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate product costing, analyzing cost variances, supporting pricing decisions, and ensuring timely management reporting. This role requires close coordination with Production, Procurement, Sales, and Finance to enhance cost efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare special product costing on a regular basis according to customer and business requirements.
Update product costing regularly and maintain standard cost records.
Analyze cost variances and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
Prepare and analyze product cost sheets and detailed cost statements.
Analyze process losses, material re-use, and wastage, and prepare related reports.
Coordinate with Production, Procurement, and Finance departments to ensure accurate costing data.
Prepare cost estimates for new products and support pricing strategies.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
Verify purchase prices and update cost changes in the ERP/accounting system.
Prepare LC costing and conduct landed cost analysis.
Prepare accurate product cost statements for regular operations and tender submissions, and provide costing support to the Sales team.
Ensure timely preparation and submission of monthly management reports.
Conduct physical inventory verification and prepare inventory reports.
Perform physical inspections to verify actual consumption against Bill of Materials (BOM), analyze variances, and ensure accurate batch postings.

Job Requirements

Age At least 22 years Experience RequirementsMinimum 7–10 years of relevant experience in costing, cost accounting, or manufacturing finance.Experience in a manufacturing/FMCG environment will be preferred.Hands-on experience with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel is highly desirable.Required Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of product costing, standard costing, and cost variance analysis.Sound understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory management, and BOM.Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.Excellent analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
