Job Description

Prepare export documents as per L/C requirements and ensure documents submission by 03 days from the date of receipt of BL date.
Check L/C for compliance as per agreed terms.
Issuing EXP from Bangladesh Bank portal and submitting duplicate EXP accordingly.
Communicate with Shipping Lines/Freight Forwarders to negotiate freight rates, book containers, check BL drafts, track container schedules, collect shipping advice, BL surrender process, bill checking, etc.
Communicate with the CNF agents regarding container availability, timely stuffing, track loading procedures, collecting necessary documentation, bill checking, etc.
Managing and coordinating all aspects of the Registered Exporters System (REX).
Follow-up payment status and release the payment from bank and record data accordingly.
Coordinate Bank, DCCI, EPB, CNF agent, Freight Forwarder/Shipping Line, Insurance and some Government agencies.
Maintain regular communication with sales team for shipment updates.
Ensure compliance and up-dating of procedures/ systems in line with ISO 9001 and 14001, ISO 45001 requirements and company policy.
Ensure that export laws and regulations for exports consignments under diverse payments terms are adhered to.
Coordinate and ensure smooth handover of goods from factory to port.
Prepare reports on month wise shipment status and supplier performance.
Stay updated on government SROs to ensure compliance and avoid customs and port penalties.
