The Data Warehouse Architect will be actively contributing to the implementation of the Gildan Business Intelligence Roadmap. This person will have to make recommendations on the legacy elements as well as the future needs of the organization. From a data warehouse perspective, the candidate will have to ensure the evolution of the solutions in place and the enrichment of the Business Intelligence ecosystem IA (availability, quality/integrity, traceability, security, scalability, etc.).
We are looking for a Data Warehouse Architect who is hands on, actively looking to improve processes, and wants to make an impact. This role will lead the technical design and development of the future of how Gildan will use data intelligence and analytics.
Design and Model of our Snowflake Data Warehouse to business specifications
Design and architect our Data Analytics solutions (HVR, Talend, Snowflake, etc.)
Involved in analysis of requirements, production specifications, Architecture, Configuration, Security, Performance, Scalability, Reliability etc.
Maintain Documentation (data models, data dictionary, ERD diagrams).
Define the Data Management Processes
Create process design documents and possible solutions
Provide support for BI developers & Analysts including clarifying automation requirements, facilitating creation of required environment and permission configurations, etc.
Support QA in testing data integration initiatives
Age At least 28 years Experience with data warehousing methodologies, modelling techniques, and SQL.At least 3 years of utilizing Snowflake, ELT concepts and tools, and creating master datasets. Experience with MDM tool is plus.Exposure to migration, data cloud solutions, and the implementation of operational production solutions on Snowflake.Must have a solid understanding of architecting, designing and operationalization of large-scale data and analytics solutions on Snowflake.Experience developing ETL pipelines in and out of SnowflakeDemonstrated ability to influence and communicate· Demonstrated autonomy and ability to work in a teamKnowledge of Talend and Tableau is a definite assetKnowledge of ERP systems is an asset
