Technician - Preventative Maintenance, Cleaning & Sanitation, and Changeover [Finishing]

1. Execute scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities for finishing and packaging equipment, including lubrication, fluid checks, wear-part replacement, tightening, alignment, and servicing.

2. Conduct routine visual and auditory inspections and support condition monitoring to identify early signs of equipment wear, abnormal vibration, noise, leakage, or overheating.

3. Perform Cleaning & Sanitation (C&S) activities, including CIP/COP operations and deep cleaning of production lines, conveyors, equipment, and high-touch areas.

4. Execute machine changeover (CO) activities, including tooling and die changes, line calibration, machine setting adjustments, component replacement, material staging, and line clearance.

5. Ensure correct machine settings and equipment readiness during changeovers and support First Piece Approval/Test Runs to meet required production and quality parameters.

6. Perform basic troubleshooting and minor adjustments to minimize equipment downtime and support smooth production operations.

7. Ensure compliance with machine safety, LOTO, GMP, hygiene, and contamination prevention requirements.

8. Maintain accurate maintenance logs, PM checklists, calibration records, work orders, and other compliance documentation.

9. Support audit readiness and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving equipment reliability, OEE, changeover efficiency, and reduction of downtime.

10. Coordinate with Production, Engineering, QA/QC, HSE, Planning, and relevant external vendors to ensure smooth maintenance, changeover, calibration, and equipment support.

Age 22 to 35 years Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, preventive maintenance, calibration, and servicingFamiliarity with finishing/packaging equipment such as cartoners, bundlers, checkweighers, coders, and case packersHands-on experience in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, minor repairs, cleaning & sanitation, and machine changeoversUnderstanding of GMP, hygiene, machine safety, LOTO, and contamination preventionAbility to maintain accurate maintenance logs, calibration records, and compliance documentationWillingness to work in rotating shifts and respond to production requirements
