Manager/Senior Manager – Financial Reporting & Controlling

• Drive timely financial closing and improve reporting accuracy across all business functions.

• Ensure robust financial controls, governance, and accounting policy compliance.

• Lead statutory, internal, tax, and management audits with timely issue resolution.

• Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to senior management.

• Strengthen budgeting, variance analysis, and financial performance monitoring.

• Ensure compliance with VAT, Tax, Companies Act, and other statutory regulations.

• Collaborate with business leaders to improve financial planning and decision support.

• Build high-performing finance teams through coaching, capability development, and succession planning.

• Partner with business heads to drive cost optimization and margin improvement

• Provide decision support for CAPEX proposals, pricing, and commercial deals

• Support M&A, project finance, and new business case evaluations

Experience & Qualifications:Must Have:Qualification: CA/ACCA/CMA/CIMA (fully qualified)Experience: 8-12 years in FP&A/Controlling, with 3+ years in a lead roleIndustry: Manufacturing, shipping, logistics, or multi-entity group structureTechnical: Advanced Excel, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), BI tools (Power BI/Tableau)Skills: Consolidation of multi-entity financials, FX exposure managementNice to Have:Experience in project finance or DFI-funded projects (IFC, ADB, etc.)Experience with shipping/fleet economics and vessel financingExposure to Bangladesh regulatory environment (BIDA, Bangladesh Bank)ERP implementation experience (iBOS or similar)Functional Skills Required: Financial Reporting & Consolidation: Prepare accurate corporate financial statements and consolidated reports in accordance with IFRS and regulatory standards.Financial Control & Governance: Design and maintain strong financial controls to protect assets, ensure compliance, and mitigate financial risks.Audit & Regulatory Compliance: Lead statutory, tax, VAT, and internal audits while ensuring timely compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Financial Planning & Performance Analysis: Interpret financial data, perform variance analysis, and provide insights that improve strategic and operational decisions.ERP & Financial Systems Management: Leverage ERP platforms, reporting automation, and financial technologies to improve efficiency and reporting quality.
