Cashier - Super Shop

Ziska Pharmaceuticals Limited, one of the reputed pharmaceutical companies in Bangladesh, is expanding its business portfolio through a newly established “Fair Price” Super Shop under its sister concern. We are looking for a responsible, customer-focused, and detail-oriented individual for the position of Cashier to ensure smooth billing operations, accurate cash management, and excellent customer service.

Job Location: Shofipur, Gazipur

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate POS systems and process customer bills accurately and efficiently.

• Handle cash, card payments, mobile financial services (bKash/Nagad), and other payment transactions.

• Maintain daily cash records and perform cash reconciliation at the end of each shift.

• Ensure accuracy of product pricing, discounts, promotional offers, and billing information.

• Provide professional and friendly support to customers during checkout.

• Address customer queries related to billing, payments, and offers.

• Prepare daily sales and transaction summaries as required.

• Maintain proper documentation of cash transactions and related records.

• Coordinate with Store Operations, Inventory, and Customer Service teams for smooth store operations.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier counter.

• Follow company policies regarding cash handling, customer service, and operational procedures.

2–3 years of experience as a Cashier or similar role in a reputed super shop, retail store, restaurant, FMCG or consumer goods company.Candidates with strong relevant experience may be considered with relaxed educational requirements.Experience in operating POS software and handling digital payment systems will be preferred.Strong numerical ability with attention to detail and accuracy.Basic computer literacy and familiarity with billing software/POS systems.Good communication and customer handling skills.Honest, punctual and responsible attitude.Ability to work in shifts and support retail operations during busy periods.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced customer-oriented environment.
