IT Officer - Super Market

Ziska Pharmaceuticals Limited, one of the reputed pharmaceutical companies in Bangladesh, is looking for an IT Officer for its newly launched venture - Fair Price Super Market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day IT support for supermarket operations, including POS systems, billing software, inventory software, barcode systems and related applications.

• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot computers, printers, scanners, POS machines, CCTV systems and various IT equipment.

• Ensure smooth operation of retail technology systems across outlets.

• Monitor and maintain POS software, product database, pricing updates and user access management.

• Support integration and synchronization between sales, inventory and reporting systems.

• Maintain backup procedures and ensure data security of operational systems.

• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, hardware problems and software-related concerns.

• Prepare regular IT reports regarding system performance, issues and maintenance activities.

• Coordinate with software vendors and service providers for technical support when required.

• Provide training and technical assistance to supermarket staff regarding software and equipment usage.

Good knowledge of POS software, inventory management systems and retail technology solutions.Strong troubleshooting skills in hardware, software and networking.Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.Ability to work independently and handle multiple operational issues.Good communication and problem-solving skills.Willingness to visit outlets whenever required.Experience Requirements:1–3 years of experience in IT support, preferably in supermarket, retail, FMCG, ERP or POS-based business operations.
