Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager – Costing & Pricing - Akij Mediequip

• Develop and maintain landed cost build-ups for imported medical equipment, spare parts, and consumables (LC charges, customs duty, VAT/AIT, freight, insurance, C&F).

• Lead product pricing: price build-ups, distributor/dealer margin structures, and periodic price revisions reflecting FX movement and cost escalation.

• Prepare competitive tender and bid pricing for government and institutional customers, ensuring margin thresholds are protected.

• Deliver product/SKU, customer, and channel-level margin analysis with clear recommendations on pricing and cost-recovery actions.

• Run contribution margin, break-even, and CVP analysis to support new product launches and business cases.

• Price service contracts, installation, and spare parts to capture full lifecycle profitability.

• Ensure accurate inventory valuation and standard vs. actual cost variance analysis; drive corrective actions with supply chain.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and monthly management reporting on cost and margin performance.

Age At least 28 years Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CMA (ICMAB) partly/fully qualified will get preference.3–7 years of experience in costing and pricing roles, preferably in medical equipment/devices, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or import-based trading businesses.Hands-on knowledge of import costing: LC operations, HS codes, customs duty structure, VAT & AIT applicable in Bangladesh.Strong proficiency in Advanced Microsoft Excel (lookup functions, Pivot Tables, Power Query, What-If analysis); working knowledge of ERP and Power BI.Exposure to government tender pricing (e-GP, CMSD) will be a strong advantage.
