SKILLS REQUIREMENT: Technical skills / Competencies required: Strong expertise in Linux system administration and troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with Bash scripting and operational automation. Knowledge of Python and PHP for automation or operational support activities. Strong understanding of cron jobs and server-side scheduling management. Advanced SQL query writing, query optimization, and database troubleshooting skills. Experience in application log analysis and issue diagnostics. Familiarity with AWS cloud services and AWS Console administration. Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes container platforms. Understanding of deployment management and operational support processes. Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Kibana, or similar platforms. Understanding of production incident management and escalation handling. Soft Skills required: Strong analytical and problem-solving capability. Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and during critical incidents. Strong ownership, accountability, and proactive mindset. Team collaboration and stakeholder management capability. Good documentation and knowledge-sharing practices. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. Continuous learning and improvement mindset. Experience Required: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in System Operations, Application Support, Production Support, or related operational domains. Hands-on experience in Linux server administration and troubleshooting. Practical experience in scripting, automation, deployment support, and operational monitoring. Experience working with AWS cloud services, Docker, and Kubernetes environments. Experience in database operations, SQL query writing, and issue investigation. Other Requirements: Strong sense of operational ownership and service reliability. Ability to respond quickly during production incidents and critical service disruptions. Strong adaptability to changing technologies and operational requirements. Experience in fintech, telecom, banking, or high-volume transactional environments will be considered an added advantage. Basic understanding of CI/CD processes and DevOps practices will be preferred.
