Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that inactive or non-operational vehicles are properly repaired and restored to service through the workshop.

  • Monitor and ensure timely renewal of all vehicle-related documents, including Tax Token, Fitness Certificate, Route Permit, and Insurance.

  • Take necessary initiatives for the recruitment of drivers and helpers, including participating in and supporting the interview and selection process.

  • Take immediate action to recover vehicles involved in accidents and coordinate subsequent repair, documentation, insurance, and other necessary procedures.

  • Organize and coordinate meetings with corporate stakeholders/vendors for agreements related to the supply of spare parts and vehicle maintenance services.

  • Source and arrange the required spare parts, ensuring proper quality, availability, and cost-effectiveness, and coordinate their installation/replacement during vehicle repair and maintenance.

  • Take necessary initiatives to control and optimize fuel consumption and vehicle repair costs within the approved budget.

  • Prepare PR, PO, GRN, and Bills through the ERP system and submit them to the Finance Department for vendor/party payment after completion of the required audit and verification process.

  • Coordinate and ensure the timely processing and payment of repair and maintenance bills after completion of vehicle repair, verification, and required documentation.

  • Maintain proper records and documentation related to vehicle maintenance, repair, expenses, and operational activities.

  • Coordinate with workshops, drivers, helpers, vendors, finance, audit, and other relevant departments to ensure smooth fleet operations.

  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the management from time to time.

Job Requirements

Age At least 28 years Good knowledge of vehicle documentation, including Tax Token, Fitness Certificate, Route Permit and Insurance.Strong coordination, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to monitor vehicle maintenance and control operational costs.Proficiency in MS Office and ERP software.Ability to work under pressure and respond promptly to vehicle breakdowns and accidents.Willingness to travel or visit workshops/operational locations when required.
