Job Description

The role is responsible for managing the Offline Coating (Gum Tape) production line to ensure consistent quality, safe operations and optimum productivity.

Operate and monitor coating machines (Solvent-based / Water-based)
Set machine parameters such as temperature, tension, speed, coating thickness and curing conditions
Ensure coating quality as per specification (GSM, adhesion, COF, surface properties)
Troubleshoot process-related issues
Conduct trial runs for new products, raw materials or process improvements
Monitor and reduce wastage, defects and downtime
Coordinate with production, maintenance, quality and R&D teams
Maintain production reports and process records
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards

Job Requirements

Age At least 30 years Knowledge of coating chemistry and raw materials (resins, solvents, additives, silica, etc.)Understanding of web handling, tension control, drying systems, and curing ovensSound knowledge of color Chemistry/matching
