Engineer/Sr. Engineer-Automobile Transport Services (Goshinga Project)

The primary purpose of an automobile service engineer is to manage workshop operations, diagnose complex vehicle faults, and ensure high-quality repairs while maintaining top customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• GPS & Telematics Monitoring: Monitor real-time vehicle locations, analyze OBD-II fault codes remotely, verify test-drive routes via geofencing, and ensure proper installation of tracking devices.

• Advanced Technical Diagnosis: Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic system failures using specialized OEM diagnostic equipment and scanners.

• Workshop Workflow & Supervision: Allocate job cards, balance technician workloads, and supervise repair execution to ensure adherence to manufacturer standards and on-time delivery.

• Quality Assurance & Testing: Inspect completed repairs, conduct rigorous post-service test drives, and perform final sign-offs to prevent repeat jobs

• Parts & Equipment Management: Coordinate with the inventory department for required spare parts and ensure workshop equipment (diagnostic scanners, hydraulic lifts) is calibrated and maintained

• Safety & Process Compliance: Enforce safety protocols, monitor workshop efficiency metrics, and ensure compliance with operational standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Technical & Operational Competencies:• Advanced Diagnostics: Proficiency with OBD-II tools, OEM software scanners, and multimeter testing for complex mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis.• Teiematics & GPS Integration: Hands-on experience with GPS tracking software, remote vehicle diagnostics, DTC code reading, and device installation.• Workflow & Process Control: Expertise in workshop capacity planning, job allocation, repair time optimization, and Quality Control (QC) standards.• Safety & Compliance: Thorough knowledge of workshop safety protocols, automotive repair standards, and hazardous material management.
