Job Description

Lead operational preparation activities for the park`s pre-opening phase.

Develop a comprehensive pre-opening operational readiness plan

Coordinate with project, engineering, procurement, HR, IT, security, marketing and other departments to ensure operational readiness.
Prepare and implement pre-opening checklists and readiness assessments.
Participate in testing and commissioning of rides, attractions, equipment and operational facilities.
Develop and implement the overall operational plan for the park.
Establish daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal operating plans based on expected visitor volume.
Ensure smooth execution of all park operations during normal days, weekends, holidays and peak seasons.
Develop SOPs, operational guidelines, checklists and work instructions for critical operational activities.
Establish a strong safety culture across the park.
Ensure safe operation of rides, attractions, play areas, equipment and public facilities.
Implement daily safety inspection and operational readiness checklists.
Ensure a high-quality customer experience throughout the visitor journey.
Establish customer service standards for ticketing, entry, attractions, food areas, washrooms, waiting areas and exit points.
Monitor customer satisfaction and identify recurring service issues.
Handle escalated customer complaints and resolve issues professionally.
Ensure all rides, games, attractions and operational facilities are ready before opening each day.
Monitor attraction availability, downtime and utilization.
Ensure proper operating procedures are followed by attraction operators.
Monitor queues and visitor movement to ensure smooth crowd flow.
Coordinate with Engineering and Maintenance teams to ensure preventive and corrective maintenance.
Develop and monitor preventive maintenance schedules for rides, attractions, buildings, utilities and operational equipment.
Monitor equipment breakdowns and minimize operational downtime.
Identify opportunities to reduce unnecessary operational costs without compromising safety or customer experience.
Monitor manpower, utilities, maintenance, consumables and other operating costs.
Establish duty rosters and shift schedules.
Conduct daily briefings and operational meetings.
Set performance expectations and KPIs for operational employees.
Maintain discipline and professional standards across the operations team.

Job Requirements

8–12 years of relevant professional experience, preferably with at least 3–5 years in a managerial/leadership role.Experience in one or more of the following sectors will be preferred: Amusement/Theme Park, Children/Family Entertainment, Hospitality, Resort.
