Officer (SO/EO/SEO) - Sustainable Finance Department

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in implementation of Sustainable Finance and Green Banking activities

• Support preparation of ESG, Green Banking and Bangladesh Bank regulatory reports

• Assist in Environmental & Social Risk Management (ESRM) screening of loan proposals

• Collect, organize and analyze sustainability-related data from branches and business units

• Support development and monitoring of green finance and SME financing portfolios

• Assist in documentation, compliance tracking and reporting of sustainability initiatives

• Coordinate with internal departments for sustainable finance data collection and reporting

• Support training and awareness programs on ESG and sustainable banking practices

Skills & Competencies

• Interest in Sustainable Finance, ESG, and Green Banking

• Good analytical and data handling skills (MS Excel, reporting tools)

• Strong communication and teamwork ability

• Willingness to learn and adapt in a professional banking environment

Experience Requirements:5–8 years of experience in banking, finance, microfinance, development sector, or related field.Exposure to ESG, sustainability reporting or credit operations will be an added advantage.
