Yamagata Dhaka Friendship Hospital is a modern multi-specialty healthcare institution committed to delivering quality healthcare services through efficient operations and resource management. We are looking for a qualified, experienced, and proactive Procurement Officer to manage the procurement of medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, consumables, office supplies, and other hospital requirements.

Job Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and execute procurement activities in accordance with hospital policies.
Source reliable suppliers and obtain competitive quotations for hospital requirements.
Prepare and process Purchase Requisitions (PR), Requests for Quotation (RFQ), Comparative Statements (CS), Purchase Orders (PO), and related procurement documentation.
Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, payment terms, and contracts with vendors.
Ensure timely procurement of medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, laboratory items, consumables, IT equipment, and general supplies.
Coordinate with user departments, finance, and stores to ensure smooth procurement operations.
Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
Maintain procurement records, vendor database, and inventory-related documentation.
Ensure compliance with hospital procurement policies and applicable regulations.
Perform any other procurement-related duties assigned by the management.
Age At most 45 years Age: Not more than 45 years (Age may be relaxed for exceptionally qualified and experienced candidates).Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.Good knowledge of procurement procedures, vendor management, and documentation.Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook).Must have practical working knowledge of ERP-based Procurement/Inventory Management Systems. Candidates with Hospital ERP procurement module experience will be given preference.Ability to prepare RFQs, Comparative Statements (CS), Purchase Orders (PO), and procurement reports.Strong organizational and documentation skills.Honest, proactive, and capable of working under pressure.Experience Minimum 5 (Five) years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Purchase Management.Experience in a hospital, pharmaceutical company, healthcare organization, or corporate procurement department will be given preference.
