Jr. Executive/ Executive – Commercial

Akij Venture Group is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional for the position of “Jr. Executive/ Executive – Commercial”.

Responsibilities:

• Manage freight forwarding, customs clearance, and import/export shipment operations.

• Coordinate with C&F agents, freight forwarders, shipping lines, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth commercial operations.

• Prepare, verify, and follow up on shipping and customs documentation, including HS Code compliance.

• Monitor shipment status, duty and port payments, customs clearance, and shipment release.

• Resolve customs, port, shipment delay, demurrage, damaged cargo, and other operational issues.

• Negotiate freight costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement.

• Ensure compliance with customs, shipping, and other applicable government regulations.

Age At least 25 years Sound knowledge of customs procedures, HS Code classification, and import regulations.Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.Good command of MS Office applications.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
