Job Description

Akij Venture Group is seeking a proactive and result-oriented professional for the position of Jr. Executive/ Executive – Local Procurement. The selected candidate will be responsible for sourcing local suppliers, managing procurement activities, negotiating with vendors, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and supporting cost-effective procurement operations.

Responsibilities:

Source materials from local suppliers and identify reliable vendors.
Collect quotations, evaluate offers, and compare prices to ensure competitive procurement.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Develop alternative supplier sources to strengthen the supply chain.
Identify cost reduction opportunities while maintaining quality and service standards.
Handle urgent procurement requirements and management assignments.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and maintain proper procurement documentation.

Job Requirements

Age At least 25 years Sound knowledge of local procurement processes and vendor management.Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.Ability to evaluate quotations and prepare comparative statements.Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously.
