The position handles the daily tuning, performance validation, and engineering upkeep of the hotel's climate control and advanced cooling mechanisms. The operational objective revolves around preserving optimal indoor ambient air quality indices and room temperatures while minimizing property energy footprints.
Run detailed scheduled cleaning, belt checks, coil washing, and mechanical calibration on all local AHU and FCU networks.
Monitor ambient temperatures inside the main production kitchens, walk-in cold rooms, and freezer units to avoid food item spoilage.
Identify hidden mechanical issues, structural vibration defects, and lines leaks, taking immediate corrective measures.
Track local ventilation energy consumption profiles, suggesting smart duty cycling options to lower overhead operational costs.
Ensure all guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, and back of house spaces maintain optimal temperature and air quality.
Assist in the operation and monitoring of central cooling systems and chiller plants.
Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and servicing of HVAC systems including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, Cooling Towers, exhaust systems, and ventilation units.
Follow all hotel safety procedures and engineering standards.
Liaise with housekeeping and front office for guest comfort related HVAC issues.
Track operational logs, filing clear shift records, line pressure reports, and maintenance tracking cards for review by the Head of MEP.
Only Male Central HVAC and commercial refrigeration operations within a 4/5 Star hotel or modern hospitality ecosystem.Comprehensive technical command over Air Handling Units (AHU), Fan Coil Units (FCU), ventilation plants, and complex air duct architectures.Deep functional experience in maintaining commercial food service cold storage installations including Walk-In Chillers, Deep Freezers, and Counter Chillers.Prior background in pre-opening testing phases, managing installation audits, checking structural snags, and working alongside corporate installation contractors.Thorough insight into pressure line reading, eco-safe refrigerant handling, chemical recovery standards, and standard HVAC thermal safety protocols.Exceptional ability to work efficiently under intense operational conditions to hit tight target deadlines without disturbing surrounding operations.Must be physically fit and fully available on-call to handle critical temperature variations or sudden ventilation asset structural faults.
