Job Description

Akij Textile Mills Ltd. is a sister concern of Akij INSAF one of the largest conglomerate in Bangladesh, founded in 1998 by Sk. Akij Uddin. The industry is fully export oriented and known for its various units, Spinning, Yarn Dying, Weaving & Fabric Dyeing and Finishing, more than 5,000 employees. Spinning unit consists of reputed brands of machineries like Reiter, Zinser, Schlaforst-Autocone, Autocore, Uster-Lab. Weaving unit is fully automated with state of the art machineries, like Picanol- Omni Plus 800, Airjet Looms with quick style change, Karl Mayer- High Performance Sizing and Sectional Warpers, Stauble Automatic Drawing- in System, CCI-Automatic Sampling Loom & Yarn Dying unit consists of high class machineries like SSM (Swiss) Soft Winding and Re-Winding machines, Gofront Stalem and Galvanim.

Now, we are seeking a dynamic & energetic person to join us as “ Manager – Dyeing (Thermosol)”.

Lead and manage Thermosol Woven Dyeing operations to achieve production targets.
Ensure shade matching, color consistency, and right-first-time (RFT) performance.
Monitor machine efficiency, productivity, and process parameters to optimize output.
Ensure compliance with customer quality requirements and international standards.
Analyze dyeing defects and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Coordinate with Planning, Laboratory, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Production teams.
Control chemical, dye, steam, gas, water, and power consumption to minimize production costs.
Ensure proper machine maintenance and minimize downtime.
Develop SOPs and maintain process documentation.
Lead, train, motivate, and evaluate production personnel.
Ensure workplace safety, environmental compliance, and 5S implementation.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production and performance reports for management.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, productivity, and efficiency.

Job Requirements

Age At most 42 years Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial position. Hands-on experience in Thermosol Woven Dyeing Machine operation and process management is mandatory. Strong knowledge of Thermosol Woven Dyeing Process, Finishing, and Quality Management. Sound understanding of dyes, chemicals, process optimization, and troubleshooting. Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines. Proficiency in MS Office and report preparation.
