Job Context
Kazi Farms Group is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented land professional to support its land acquisition, verification, documentation, and compliance activities for existing and future business operations. The incumbent will be responsible for conducting land due diligence, surveys, title verification, acquisition processes, regulatory coordination, and post-purchase land management to ensure secure, legally compliant, and risk-free land transactions. The role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders and government authorities to facilitate smooth land-related operations while maintaining accurate records and ensuring adherence to applicable land laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform due diligence including title verification, ownership validation, and scrutiny of CS, RS, BS, SA Khatian, Dag, Mouza records, deeds, mutation records, and other land documents to ensure clear and encumbrance-free title.
Conduct physical and digital land surveys using modern surveying tools to verify land measurement, actual possession, boundary demarcation, and site conditions.
Identify legal risks, dispute history, and litigation status of proposed land; coordinate with the Legal team to ensure regulatory compliance and obtain necessary clearances.
Manage land acquisition documentation including baina agreements, deed drafting, registration, and ownership transfer in compliance with applicable land laws.
Handle all post-purchase formalities including mutation, partition, conversion, payment of Khajna, and record halnagad/updating with relevant government authorities.
Liaise with Land Offices, AC Land Office, Sub-Registry Offices, Survey Departments, and other government agencies for approvals, permits, record correction, and land-related matters.
Maintain accurate land records and a structured, audit-ready repository of all deeds, khatians, survey reports, mutation records, tax receipts, and official correspondence.
Coordinate with Legal, Accounts, and Project teams, prepare periodic reports on acquisition progress, land status, costs, compliance requirements, and associated risks for management review.
