Jr Officer/Officer - Mechanical Engineer

Quality Feeds Limited is seeking a competent and proactive Jr. Officer / Officer – Mechanical Engineer to support factory operations through effective maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of mechanical equipment. The role involves ensuring smooth production, minimizing downtime, and maintaining safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment and machinery.

• Ensure smooth operation of boilers, compressors, conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, motors, mixers, and production machinery.

• Identify mechanical faults and take prompt corrective actions to reduce downtime.

• Assist in installation, commissioning, and modification of machinery and equipment.

• Maintain maintenance logs, checklists, job cards, and spare parts records.

• Coordinate with production teams to support uninterrupted factory operations.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards, factory rules, and maintenance SOPs.

• Monitor equipment performance and suggest improvement and cost reduction initiatives.

• Support energy efficiency and preventive maintenance planning.

• Supervise technicians and mechanics during maintenance activities when required.

• Liaise with vendors and contractors for repair, fabrication, and spare parts procurement.

• Participate in audits, inspections, and continuous improvement activities.

Age 24 to 30 yearsOnly Male Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.Basic understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, lubrication systems, and welding/fabrication.Ability to read mechanical drawings and manuals.Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems.Good communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency breakdowns.Basic computer skills (MS Excel, maintenance reports).Willingness to work in shift duty, if required.
