Job Description

Sajeeb Group, a reputed group of companies in Bangladesh, is looking for a competent and proactive professional to manage land-related matters and legal affairs. The role involves handling documentation, legal compliance, and coordination with regulatory authorities to ensure smooth and compliant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Land Management:

Handle land acquisition processes including verification, due diligence, and ownership validation
Maintain and update all land-related records, deeds, and documentation
Liaise with land offices (AC Land, Sub-Registry Office, etc.) for mutation, registration, and other formalities
Ensure proper documentation for land development and project execution

Legal Affairs:

Draft, review, and vet legal documents such as agreements, contracts, deeds, and notices
Coordinate with external lawyers on litigation and legal cases
Monitor ongoing cases and ensure timely updates and follow-ups
Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and company policies

Regulatory & Compliance:

Maintain legal compliance with government authorities and regulatory bodies
Assist in obtaining necessary approvals, licenses, and permits
Stay updated with changes in land and property laws

Coordination & Reporting:

Work closely with internal teams (Accounts, Admin, Projects)
Prepare reports on land status, legal issues, and case progress
Support management with legal advice and risk assessment
