Job Context

    Apex Footwear Limited (Unit -2) is responsible for fulfilling demand of footwear, non-footwear, leather and synthetic products through its marketing channels of approx. 250 own retail outlets, 200 franchisees outlets, wholesale/ distribution and e-commerce. The job holder is primarily responsible for conducting gap analysis and ensures effective implementation of the Retail IT system. S/he is required to suggest modification, improvement after taking business/ operational requirement from internal users of retail operations department. After the implementation of the retail IT system, the job holder will be responsible to ensure the smooth functionality and troubleshooting of the software and hardware whenever required. In addition, the job holder will also be secondarily responsible for data analysis to ensure data integrity across the system and to provide customized reporting as per requirement of the Management.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure the business process of Retail/Wholesale/Franchise/e-commerce/corporate sales flawless through technology integration and implementation so that business can achieve its predefined goals.
  • Develop core Retail processes and ensure smooth operations of all the applications within the organization to support different retail operations.
  • Prepare FSD, RFP, SRS etc. for new projects and coordinating with vendors to get efficient and cost-effective proposals.
  • Ensure additional in-house/ outsource new hardware/ software to fulfill the business and department need.
  • Run proof of concept (POC) for new hardware and Retail Technology Modern Devices to determine feasibility.
  • Ensure professional UI/UX/UAT/AST and operations of different modules i.e Demand Planning, Supply chain, Product Management, Product Development, Material Planning, Production and other modules to support existing and upcoming applications.
  • Ensure digital transformation of retail process to support the business need
  • Maintain RFID tagging, Encoding and integration and implementation of RFID solution for Warehouse and retail outlets for inventory and anti-theft operations.
  • Develop online and mobile app compatible with all platform and devices to ensure Retail/ Wholesale/ Franchise/e-commerce/corporate sales business MIS and BI.
  • Manage, train and guide IT help desk team to get maximum output to facilitate business support.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc)
  • Certification on OCP, MCP and RHCP will be considered as an added value.
  • Skills Required: Android application development, Database, iOS Application Development, Java or Python Programming Language, Linux platforms, Multitasking
