Lead and oversee the overall operations of the company’s medicine outlets, pharmaceutical distribution, institutional supply, and healthcare-related business activities.
Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve business growth, improve efficiency, increase sales, and maximize profitability.
Take full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of medicine outlets, including sales performance, inventory management, customer service, staff productivity, compliance, and overall store profitability.
Monitor outlet-wise sales, expenses, stock movement, gross margin, wastage, and profitability, and take corrective actions where necessary.
Ensure smooth and timely execution of medicine supply orders to government hospitals, healthcare institutions, and other institutional clients, from order confirmation to delivery and payment follow-up.
Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, logistics, accounts, sales, and outlet teams to ensure uninterrupted and efficient supply operations.
Develop and execute sales and marketing plans to increase medicine outlet sales, expand the customer base, strengthen institutional business, and identify new market opportunities.
Explore opportunities to expand the medicine outlet network and healthcare business, including new locations, institutional clients, projects, and strategic business partnerships.
Prepare, monitor, and analyze Profit & Loss (P&L), sales targets, operating costs, cash flow, and business performance on a regular basis and ensure achievement of financial targets.
Identify areas for cost reduction, process improvement, and revenue enhancement while maintaining service quality and regulatory compliance.
Lead and monitor ongoing healthcare/pharmaceutical projects, ensuring proper planning, resource allocation, execution, documentation, and timely completion.
Maintain effective liaison and professional relationships with relevant government ministries, departments, directorates, government hospitals, public-sector organizations, and other stakeholders for business and project-related matters.
Coordinate with relevant authorities regarding tenders, work orders, supply contracts, project implementation, approvals, documentation, payments, and other official requirements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, hospital authorities, suppliers, business partners, and other stakeholders to ensure sustainable business growth.
Ensure compliance with applicable government rules, pharmaceutical regulations, procurement procedures, quality standards, and company policies.
Establish and improve SOPs, internal controls, reporting systems, and operational processes to ensure efficient and transparent business operations.
Recruit, lead, motivate, and evaluate operational, sales, outlet, and support teams to achieve business objectives and maintain high performance standards.
Review regular operational and financial reports and provide management with actionable insights, forecasts, and recommendations for business development and profitability improvement.
Handle operational challenges, customer/service issues, supply disruptions, and other critical matters promptly and effectively.
Represent the company in meetings, negotiations, project discussions, and business engagements with government and institutional stakeholders when required.
Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Managing Director/CEO/Top Management in relation to business operations, expansion, and strategic growth.
