About Capacity Building Service Group (CBSG)

Established in 2003, Capacity Building Service Group (CBSG) is an international development consultancy with special interests in Evaluation and Research, Organizational Development, and Training.

Job Context

The Research and Training Specialist will provide technical support in planning, designing and implementation of CBSG's research, evaluation, organizational development consultancies. The position will manage implementation of consultancies, project acquisition including proposal development.

Job Responsibilities

Coordinate and design research, evaluation, organizational development consulting assignments including client coordination.
Proactively track consulting activities and timely submission of deliverables.
Design and manage quantitative and qualitative research, assessments and evaluation studies.
Conduct organizational capacity assessments and implement institutional capacity building activities.
Contribute to technical proposals, concept notes, methodologies and consultancy proposal submissions.
Develop training module and delivery of training for diverse stakeholders and clients
Prepare high-quality analytical reports, and make presentation to the clients.
Facilitate training and workshops for public and private organizations / stakeholders

Job Requirements

Age 24 to 35 years Advance skill in Microsoft Office applications. (This is a must requirement. We provide 25% weightage in the selection process on the MS Office skill).Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in research and organization development sector.Experience in consulting firms, research organizations or similar professional environments will be preferred.Experience in developing interactive training module and delivery of training for diverse audienceExperience in technical proposal development, inception reports of the consultancy assignments.Experience in working with multiple assignments and ccoordinate with diverse stakeholders.Value AdditionsStrong command of English, both written and spoken.Practical working experience with Stata and SurveyCTO programmingFamiliarity with other research/data-analysis softwarePublic speaking
