Deputy Manager/ Asst. Manager-Logistics, Unique Cement Industries Limited (Bulk Carrier Operations)

• Prepare and execute the daily delivery plan to ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective delivery operations.

• Manage daily transport activities, including vehicle dispatching, route planning, scheduling, and real-time tracking.

• Ensure the availability, proper utilization, and maintenance of transport resources, including vehicles, drivers, and related assets.

• Lead and supervise the transport team, drivers, and helpers by providing guidance, performance management, training, and operational support.

• Monitor and enhance delivery performance, productivity, and trip frequency, and prepare regular reports on KPIs and operational costs.

• Maintain effective communication and coordination with internal departments, team members, customers, and the Corporate Sales team to ensure smooth delivery operations.

• Ensure driver availability for each assigned vehicle and take necessary actions to maximize daily delivery volume.

• Monitor vehicle and driver performance and take corrective actions to minimize delays, downtime, and operational disruptions.

• Ensure proper coordination between transport, sales, and other relevant departments for efficient delivery execution.

• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and other operational reports as required by management.

• Identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions to improve transport efficiency and overall delivery performance.

Ability to influence and negotiation skillsStrong Verbal and written communication skillsPractical knowledge of Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
