Coordinate with Production and Design teams to resolve technical and quality issues and ensure timely closure of inspection findings.
Review ship drawings, technical specifications, and revisions to ensure compliance with project and Class requirements.
Inspect fabrication, assembly, outfitting, piping, and machinery installation as per approved drawings and quality plans.
Check dimensional accuracy, welding quality, material specifications, and workmanship during construction.
Witness hydrostatic, pressure, leak, and functional tests during production and before vessel commissioning.
Prepare inspection reports, QC checklists, Class documents, deficiency/remark logs, material records, and packing lists.
Ensure compliance with applicable safety rules, regulations, and shipyard procedures.
Candidates with relevant shipbuilding experience will be given preference.Knowledge of shipbuilding, welding, fabrication, piping, outfitting, and marine machinery installation.Experience working with Classification Society requirements and vessel inspection processes.Ability to read ship drawings and technical specifications with good documentation and reporting skills.
