Job Description

The AGM/DGM - HR will support the Head of Human Resources in leading the HR Operations function and ensuring the effective delivery of people processes across the organisation. The role will oversee day-to-day HR operations, ensure compliance with organisational policies and labour laws, and partner with business units to provide timely and effective HR support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee day-to-day HR operations to ensure efficient and timely service delivery.

  • Manage recruitment and onboarding activities to attract and retain competent talent.

  • Oversee employee lifecycle processes including confirmation, transfer, promotion, separation and exit formalities.

  • Ensure effective implementation of performance management, employee engagement and talent development initiatives.

  • Administer compensation and benefits, including payroll coordination, insurance and employee welfare programs.

  • Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labour Law, organizational policies and statutory requirements.

  • Develop, review and implement HR policies, procedures and standard operating practices.

  • Maintain HR records, reports and employee databases with accuracy and confidentiality. Support workforce planning, organizational restructuring and other change management initiatives.

  • Supervise and develop the HR team while fostering collaboration across departments.

  • Prepare HR reports, dashboards and management information as required by senior leadership.

  • Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Head of Human Resources.

Job Requirements

Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, including at least 3 years in a managerial role, preferably with a multinational company (MNC) or a reputed local organisationSound knowledge of HR operations, Bangladesh Labour Law and HR policies.Experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation & benefits and HR administration.Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.Proficiency in Advanced Excel, Al tools with good analytical and reporting skills.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
