Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily construction activities and monitor work progress.
Ensure all works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
Coordinate and supervise the activities of laborers, masons, and subcontractors.
Ensure the quality of construction works and the proper use of construction materials.
Carry out construction measurements, maintain the Measurement Book (MB), and prepare required site reports.
Ensure site safety and proper housekeeping.
Receive, inspect, store, and control construction materials at the project store.
Maintain accurate records of material receipt, issue, return, and stock balance.
Maintain and update the Store Register, Stock Register, Goods Received Note (GRN), Challans, and other relevant documents.
Conduct regular stock verification and promptly report any shortages, damages, or discrepancies to the Project Manager.
Perform any other technical, supervisory, store-related, or administrative duties assigned by the Project Manager or Management.
Qualifications
Diploma in Civil Engineering from any Government Polytechnic Institute.
Basic knowledge of construction drawings, measurement, and construction materials.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Word will be considered an added advantage.
Experience Requirements
Experience in building construction projects.
Experience in material receiving, measurement, store management, and inventory control.
Experience in site supervision, quality control, daily progress monitoring, and coordination with contractors and laborers will be preferred.
Employment Conditions
This is a regular position.
Continuation of employment will be subject to satisfactory performance, project requirements, and the discretion of Management.
The selected staff member must be willing to reside at the project site.
Accommodation will be provided by the organization.
Food expenses shall be borne by the employee.
The employee must comply with all organizational policies, site rules, and project instructions while performing assigned duties.
