PURPOSE:
To develop, maintain, and automate the organisation's reporting infrastructure — ensuring that management, programme teams, and field operations have accurate, timely, and actionable data.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to support recurring and ad-hoc reporting needs.
Develop and maintain automated data pipelines that move data from transactional (OLTP) systems into the analytics/reporting (OLAP) layer.
Design, build, and publish Power BI dashboards and reports; manage datasets and DAX measures.
Use Python for data cleaning, validation, analysis, and automation of repetitive reporting tasks.
Perform data quality checks and reconciliation; investigate and resolve discrepancies between source systems and reports.
Build and maintain advanced Excel models, reconciliations, and templates for departments that work outside the BI environment.
Translate business questions from program and management teams into analytical requirements and deliver clear, well-documented outputs.
Document data definitions, business logic, and report specifications so that reporting remains reproducible and auditable.
Support ad-hoc analysis and management reporting requests as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Education: Master and Bachelor in any discipline (CSE, Applied Statistic, MIS preferred).
Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Software Development, Database Management, and BI tools.
Skill: Proficiency in SQL, Python, Advance Excel (Power Query, Data modelling etc.), Power BI & Apache Superset
