Job Description

The Department of Mathematics & Physical Sciences (MPS), established in 2001, offers high-quality education in basic and applied sciences across multiple disciplines. The department is currently seeking applications for faculty positions in Physics. Positions are available for Associate Professor

Position Overview

The selected candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, supporting students` academic development, and contributing to departmental academic and administrative activities within an Outcome-Based Education (OBE) framework.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching in Physics.
Support and guide students in assigned courses and academic activities.
Review and improve course OBE guidelines each semester.
Contribute to curriculum development, assessment, and departmental initiatives.
Assist in departmental and institutional academic activities as required.

Job Requirements

Minimum 3 years of active full-time teaching (or equivalent) experience at Assistant Professor level and excellent research portfolio is required for Associate Professor.Strong foundation in Physics with the ability to teach required courses effectively.Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with the ability to work in diverse academic environments.Proficiency in MS Office and digital academic tools.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to confidentiality.Initiative, adaptability, and a problem-solving mindset.
