Job Description

Explain procedures and provide emotional support.
Assist patients in understanding their condition and medications.
Collaborate with Medical Doctors in health examinations.
Ensures equipment operates correctly and arranges maintenance.
Administer medications or injections as directed by physicians.
Safely draw blood and other samples from patients.
Explain the blood collection process and reassure nervous patients.
Apply dressings to wounds created during blood collection.
Maintain records of samples and test results.
Sterilize and maintain medical instruments and equipment.
Prepare and maintain examination and treatment rooms
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
Assist in minor surgical procedures and examinations.
Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records.
Handle billing, coding, and related paperwork.
Manage electronic health records (EHR) and update patient charts.
Answer phone calls and provide information or schedule appointments.
Monitor and order medical supplies and medications as needed.
Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
