Job Description

Paragon Group is one of the largest business conglomerate in the country is looking for experienced, proactive and honest individuals for its Civil Engineering section.

Responsibilities:

Estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment & labour for a project.

Manage construction schedule, resolving any delay or conflict to meet up timeline.

Ensure compliance with BNBC, labor laws, fire and life safety requirements, and international compliance standards.

Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports & other reports as required.

Manage project budgets, contractor bills, variations, claims and cost control activities.

Implement and monitor quality assurance (QA/QC) and health, safety and environment (HSE) systems.

Coordinate procurement activities and monitor delivery schedules of construction materials and equipment.

Conduct regular site meetings and coordinate with all project stakeholders.

Manage project risks, delays, contractual issues, and corrective action plans.

Coordinate testing, commissioning, inspections, occupancy approvals, and final project handover.

Any other assignment given by superiors.

Job Requirements

Age 35 to 40 years Sound knowledge of:Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC)Fire and Life Safety requirementsIndustrial compliance standardsConstruction contract managementProject planning and schedulingKnowledge of international compliance standards such as:Accord/Alliance requirementsRSC requirementsNFPA standardsOSHA safety practicesProficiency in:Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft ProjectAutoCADMicrosoft Office SuiteStrong knowledge of:RCC and steel structure constructionFire protection systemsIndustrial electrical and utility systemsCost control and budget managementContract administration and claims managementExcellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.Ability to manage multiple contractors and consultants simultaneously.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
