Job Description

Develop and maintain test plans, test strategies, and test cases while performing all testing activities including functional, integration, regression, performance, and stress testing
Log defects in a detailed, understandable and reproducible way, tracking all assigned defects through to closure and interacting with members of the development team to resolve discovered defects
Create, maintain, perform, and upgrade test scripts analyze test cases and provides regular progress reports
Excellent understanding of testing theory
Understand the business requirements and goals of the product, and align them with the needs of the target market and customers.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and validate product ideas.
Coordinating with the development team to identify any potential issues in the design or development process that may impact the quality of the final product
Performing testing activities such as installing new software or updating existing software to ensure that it performs as expected
Communicating with other departments within an organization to ensure that they are aware of changes to the software being developed

Job Requirements

Experience in QA processes, writing and executing test plans and test cases, maintaining bug database, verifying fixes, software releasesStrong understanding of product development lifecycle and agile methodologiesStrong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processesExperience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test casesHands-on experience with both white box and black box testingHands-on experience with automated testing tools
