Job Description

Context -
Project Coordinator, INSPIRE (Insurance for Slum People's Inclusion, Resilience and Empowerment) will responsible for project management, implementation and coordination along with preparing workplan, budgets, report preparation as per donor’s requirements. Monitoring Team field to ensure effective and efficient project work with stake holders and donors. Ensure efficient project flow and follow policy guideline.

Major Responsibilities: 

  • Lead overall project planning, implementation, and coordination to ensure the achievement of project objectives.

  • Develop detailed work plans, budgets (managing full project budget except HO budget), and reports in strict compliance with donor requirements and organizational guidelines.

  • Supervise, support, and manage a team of field staff to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of project activities across dispersed locations.

  • Maintain effective communication and smooth coordination with joint venture partners, community stakeholders, and donors.

  • Monitor project progress against KPIs, track budget utilization efficiency, and ensure full compliance with project standards, policies, and donor regulations.

  • Mitigate operational risks, field-level implementation delays (due to weather, logistics, or disruptions), and apply quick decision-making for routine problem-solving.

 

Safeguarding Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation.

  • Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding to establish a safe working environment.

  • Practice, promote, and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

  • Behave in a manner consistent with BRAC’s brand, values, and protocols.

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedures in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so.

Job Requirements

Master Degree in Business administration, Economics, Banking or any related subject.At least 1 year experience in donor-funded/development project management.This position is open for Bangladeshi nationals only.
