Prepare an annual plan and implement activities accordingly
Supervise 105–135 acres of land per year
Prepare and review the yearly budget according to the activity plan
Keep all expenses within the approved budget limit
Assist Technical Assistants (Production) in target-wise land and farmer selection
Provide final approval and supply quality inputs
Conduct farmer training sessions and randomly check at least 10% of plots/farmers visited by TA
Provide technical support for seed crop management and verify technical registers
Ensure roughing and seed quality standards (moisture content, germination, appearance, etc.) prior to procurement
Manage labour and resolve local operational issues promptly
Develop staff through counselling, meetings, training, and coaching; conduct yearly performance assessments
Share field information with supervisors and communicate with local stakeholders (local leaders, GOs, and NGOs)
Analyse profit/loss, maintain all official documents, prepare and submit reports and ensure security of all BRAC assets
Review bills, vouchers, and financial activity reports for production activities and recommend for management approval
Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
Perform any other jobs as assigned by the management
