Job Summary:
To conduct Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBT&A) on Mobile Phone Servicing ensuring both theoretical and practical knowledge are delivered effectively. The instructor will help trainees develop skills in repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting mobile phones, preparing them for employment or self-employment in mobile servicing.
Conduct both theory and practical training sessions following the CBT&A curriculum.
Prepare detailed lesson and session plans with training materials and demonstrations.
Teach mobile phone hardware and software troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and repair techniques.
Guide trainees in using tools, instruments, and diagnostic equipment safely and efficiently.
Evaluate and assess trainees’ competencies according to NSDA/CBT&A guidelines.
Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and training materials.
Keep detailed attendance, performance, and assessment records of trainees.
Support the Job Placement Officer to facilitate trainee employment or internship opportunities.
Prepare training reports, progress summaries, and certification documentation.
Participate in meetings, workshops, and continuous professional development programs.
Perform other duties as assigned by the principal or Project Coordinator.
Age may be relaxed for highly deserving candidates Experience working with NSDA, ASSET, or TVET projects preferred Strong technical knowledge of mobile phone hardware, software, and repair systems. Ability to identify and fix complex mobile device issues. Familiarity with CBT&A methodology and competency standards. Computer literacy (MS word, Excel and online reporting) Commitment to quality training and trainee success.
