Job Description

United Commercial Bank PLC (UCB), one of Bangladesh’s leading first-generation private commercial banks, is seeking dynamic, result-oriented, and customer-focused professionals to join the Agri & MFI Business Team under its SME & Agri Banking Division as Agri Sales Officer.

In this key field-level role, the incumbent will be responsible for expanding agricultural lending, sourcing quality Agri-SME proposals, driving customer acquisition, and strengthening portfolio monitoring. The position plays a critical role in achieving business growth targets while delivering financial solutions to grassroots communities across the country.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Achieve business targets for loan disbursement, recovery/collection, and deposit mobilization.
Organize weekly Uthan Boithak sessions in different locations in coordination with Branch officials, and submit relevant reports.
Conduct regular meetings and develop strong relationships with government and local stakeholders—including UAO, ULO, UFO, and community leaders—to facilitate business development and operational support.
Identify new business opportunities through market visits, field surveys, and customer engagement initiatives to ensure sustainable portfolio growth.
Source quality Agri-SME loan proposals from Branches, Sub-branches, Agent Banking Outlets, and business communities.
Ensure superior customer service and maintain strong relationships to enhance client satisfaction and business retention.
Provide end-to-end credit support, including pre-disbursement visits, loan proposal analysis, coordination with CRM and other stakeholders, oversight of loan documentation, and post-disbursement monitoring.

Job Requirements

Age 22 to 35 years Preference will be given to candidates with hands-on experience in agri sales at a Bank, NBFI, NGO, or Microfinance Institution (MFI).Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, with a proven ability to build relationships, identify market opportunities, and drive business growth.
