Job Responsibilities:

Develop, evaluate and manage Shariah-compliant investment proposals under Islamic banking principles.
Analyze customers’ financial statements, business viability, cash flow, risk profile and repayment capacity.
Prepare investment proposals, appraisal reports and necessary documentation in accordance with the Bank’s policies, Shariah Principles and regulatory requirements.
Monitor sanctioned investments and ensure proper utilization, regular repayment and timely recovery.
Identify early warning signals, overdue/irregular investments and potential deterioration in repayment capacity of the borrower.
Ensure disbursement-complying Shariah Principles related to Islamic Banking.
Maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients and develop Islamic Banking business without compromising investment quality, Shariah Compliance and regulatory requirements.
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Bank regulations, Bank policies, Shariah principles and applicable risk-management guidelines.
Identify business opportunities and contribute to the growth of the Islamic Banking portfolio.
Coordinate with relevant departments for documentation, disbursement, monitoring, recovery and other investment-related activities.

Job Requirements

Age Limit: Maximum 40 years as on 30/09/2026Experience & ExpertiseMinimum 4-7 years of relevant experience in Islamic Banking specially in investment, preferably in a scheduled full-fledged Islami Bank/Islamic Banking Window under conventional Bank.Candidates with sound knowledge of Islamic investment modes under Bai, Share & Ijara will be preferred.General Requirements:Strong understanding of Islamic Banking principles and Shariah-compliant deposit & investment Products.Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical and relationship-management skills.Strong business acumen with a target-oriented mindset.Ability to work independently as well as in a team.Proficiency in MS Office and modern digital banking technologies.Willingness to travel and undertake field/business development activities as required.Candidates with Islamic Banking experience in reputed commercial bank will be preferred.
