Position: Subject Teacher
Subject: English, Math, Science, Bangla, Physics, Economics, Business, Accounting, Chemistry and Biology, Sports, Arabic language & Islamic studies etc.
Reporting To: Coordinator/Head of Department/Section Head/Vice Principal/Principal
Duties and Responsibilities of a Subject Teacher:
- Prepare and deliver lessons to students in the assigned subject area.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and learning objectives.
- Assess student learning through various forms of assessment, such as tests, quizzes, projects, and presentations.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their work to support their academic growth.
- Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Manage classroom behavior and create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum and instructional strategies.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and concerns.
- Utilize educational technology and online resources to enhance instruction and student engagement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest educational research and best practices in the subject area.
- Participate in professional development activities and workshops to improve teaching skills and knowledge.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and academic progress.
- Provide additional support or remediation to students who require extra assistance.
Age At least 22 years A Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching, preferably in an English Medium Excellent communication skills in English.Experience in teaching at the relevant grade level or subject area.Knowledge of curriculum standards and educational best practices.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.Proficiency in using educational technology and online learning platforms.Ability to work in a collaborative academic environment.
