Job Description

Job Context

Mutual Trust Bank PLC (MTB) is seeking candidates for the position of Associate – Financial Market Operations Department, Treasury. The role will support day-to-day Treasury and Foreign Exchange operations, including transaction processing, reconciliation, regulatory reporting, and coordination with relevant stakeholders, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.

Responsibilities

Support day-to-day Treasury and Foreign Exchange operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of transactions.
Prepare and submit Bangladesh Bank regulatory reports, memos, and statements within prescribed timelines.
Reconcile Bangladesh Bank USD accounts, NOSTRO accounts, RTGS USD settlement accounts, and other Treasury-related accounts, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies and outstanding items.
Prepare and upload daily NOSTRO Day-End Balance Reports to the Bangladesh Bank web portal in compliance with FEMS requirements.
Maintain the FX Deal Register and upload daily exchange rates to FEMS and BAFEDA.
Process and monitor fund transfers through the Treasury TCS Module and ensure accurate CBS posting.
Reconcile FC RTGS Settlement, FI-to-FI, and Adjustment Payable Accounts and resolve related discrepancies.
Investigate and resolve RTGS inward/outward transfer issues, duplicate entries, settlement mismatches, and CBS posting differences.
Process and monitor NOSTRO fund returns and ensure proper accounting entries.
Coordinate with Bangladesh Bank and relevant internal departments for timely resolution of payment, settlement, reconciliation, and regulatory reporting issues.

Job Requirements

Age At least 21 years Basic understanding of Treasury functions, particularly Foreign Exchange transactions.Proficiency in MS Excel will be preferred.Ability to work effectively in a team.Strong attention to accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.
