Head of Treasury (SVP - EVP), Treasury Front Office

• Overall responsibility of all treasury front office activities and ensure required oversight on dealers and managers.

• Ensures a robust control environment for the treasury functions including dealers code of conduct, Chinese wall between the private and public side

• Abiding by the rules and regulations related to money market & FX market and other treasury activities which are circulated throughout the bank time to time.

• Provide strategic leadership by assessing FX market liquidity and interest rate trends, guiding Chief dealers and Dealer in optimizing funding and investment decisions.

• Communicating and maintaining high level of liaison with other strategically important counterparts.

• Setting/designing the overall strategic priority action plans of Treasury Division on yearly basis.

• Guiding the whole Treasury Dealing room in achieving the budget as well as fulfilling the strategic priorities set for the year.

• Directing, leading and controlling Treasury and Investment functions to generate profits from dealing in the Money Market & FX market and ensure achievement of Bank’s objectives within specified risk guidelines.

• Providing strategic direction on portfolio positioning, liquidity management, and investment decisions through continuous monitoring of securities market developments and interest rate trends, while guiding the dealers in executing treasury strategies.

• Member Secretary in the ALCO

• Active contribution to ALCO in formulating strategies for liquidity management, funding, interest rate risk, and balance sheet optimization.

• Provide strategic market and risk insights to support ALCO decisions and achieve the Bank’s financial and regulatory objectives.

• Set individual trader dealing limits from limits approved by management

• Monitor all traders ‘positions and ensure traders adhere to all internal, regulatory as well as trader specific limits

• Decide on particular positions during adverse situations
