Job Description

Lead, supervise and manage the Direct Sales Team (DST) responsible for retail liability sales and customer acquisition.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual retail deposit and liability targets.
Set individual and team-wise targets for the DST and monitor performance against assigned business objectives.
Drive acquisition of new retail customers and mobilize CASA, Savings, Current, Term Deposits, DPS and other retail deposit products of the Bank.
Develop strategies for increasing the Bank's low-cost deposit base and stable retail funding.
Identify potential customer segments, markets, institutions, corporate relationships and other business sources for deposit mobilization.
Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers and ensure timely conversion into quality liability business.
Monitor daily sales activities, customer visits, leads, account openings, deposit mobilization and other key performance indicators of the DST.
Conduct regular field visits and accompany team members to support customer acquisition and strengthen sales effectiveness.
Coach, mentor and motivate DST members to improve individual productivity and achieve assigned targets.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with high-value and prospective retail customers to increase deposits and customer retention.
Develop opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling of the Bank's retail products and services to existing liability customers.
Work closely with Branches to generate referrals and strengthen collaboration between the Branch network and the Direct Sales Team.
Organize and participate in deposit mobilization campaigns, customer acquisition drives, corporate/institutional visits, fairs and other promotional activities.
Ensure proper KYC, AML/CFT, customer due diligence and documentation in all liability acquisition activities.
Monitor the quality and sustainability of deposits generated through the DST and ensure adherence to the Bank's approved deposit mobilization practices.
Prepare and submit regular sales MIS, target-versus-achievement reports, pipeline reports, forecasts and performance dashboards to the Head of Retail Banking Division.
Identify underperforming team members and take appropriate corrective and developmental measures in consultation with management.
Support the design and implementation of appropriate sales incentive and performance measurement mechanisms for the Direct Sales Team.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Management from time to time.
