Key Responsibilities:
Lead the ICU team of nurses, respiratory therapists, and pharmacists to ensure coordinated care.
Lead daily multidisciplinary rounds with nurses, therapists, and specialists.
Conduct physical examinations and record patients’ medical history.
Help to manage acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and diseases.
Providing service through good relations with patients, colleagues & Staff, respect for the patient`s right and observance of professional ethical obligations.
Respond instantly to sudden cardiac arrests or rapid clinical declines and provide timely and appropriate treatment.
Perform emergency airway intubations and mechanical ventilation.
Oversee the use of advanced equipment, including ventilators and dialysis machines.
Educate patients and their families about medical conditions and treatments.
Stay informed about advancements in medical practices and treatments.
Be able to write & discharge patient properly e.g advice;
Carry out tasks assigned by the competent authority.
Experience in ICU/ Critical Care is Mandatory Strong clinical decision-making skills
