1. Emergency Medical Care & Patient Assessment
Respond swiftly to emergency calls and provide advanced life support (ALS) to patients at the scene and en route to the hospital.
Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, cardiac monitoring (ECG), blood glucose testing, and neurological evaluations.
Administer necessary medications, perform intravenous (IV) cannulation, and manage advanced airway procedures (e.g., intubation) per clinical guidelines.
Perform life-saving interventions such as CPR, defibrillation, bleeding control, and trauma stabilization.
2. Transport & Handover
Safely and transport patients to appropriate medical facilities while continuously monitoring their condition.
Provide a clear, concise, and comprehensive clinical handover to emergency department staff upon arrival, ensuring continuity of care.
3. Protocol Adherence & Infection Control
Maintain adherence to Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) standards at all times, ensuring personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols are followed to mitigate transmission risks.
Execute post-transport decontamination and sanitation of the ambulance, clinical equipment, and reusable medical supplies.
4. Vehicle & Equipment Maintenance
Conduct daily inspections of the emergency vehicle, ensuring it is fully stocked with unexpired medications, functional equipment, and adequate supplies.
