Job Description

Employment Status:

Permanent in the rank up to Executive Vice President

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement the Bank`s overall Card Business strategy to achieve business growth and profitability.
Lead the acquisition and portfolio management of Debit, Credit, and Prepaid Card products.
Design innovative card products and promotional campaigns to enhance customer engagement.
Manage relationships with payment networks (Visa, Mastercard, NPSB, etc.), vendors, and regulatory authorities.
Monitor portfolio performance, transaction volumes, profitability, and risk indicators.
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Bank guidelines and other regulatory requirements.
Lead digital payment initiatives and strengthen card usage through strategic partnerships.
Supervise and mentor the Card Business team to achieve business objectives.

Job Requirements

Age At most 50 years Experience RequirementsMinimum 10 years of Banking experience preferably in Card Business with at least 2 years as Head of Card Business.Proven leadership experience in managing Card Business operations.Sound knowledge of card issuing, acquiring, payment systems, merchant acquiring, and digital banking products.Required Skills & Qualifications:Strong leadership and strategic planning skills.Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Sound understanding of regulatory compliance and risk management.Ability to work under pressure and achieve business targets.Age – Maximum 50 Years as of deadline of application date.
