Senior Manager - Branch Network Expansion & Business Development

Job Context:

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Senior Manager - Branch Network Expansion & Business Development to lead the Bank's network expansion initiatives. The incumbent will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, planning and executing branch expansion projects, driving business development, and optimizing network performance to support the Bank's strategic growth objectives.

Job grade: Assistant Vice President (AVP) - Senior Assistant Vice President (SAVP)

Key Accountabilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for expanding the Bank's Branch, Sub-Branch, ATM, and Fast Track network.

• Identify, evaluate, and recommend new business locations based on market potential, customer demand, business feasibility, and competitive analysis.

• Lead the end-to-end branch expansion process, including site identification, feasibility assessment, negotiations, documentation, regulatory approvals, and launch.

• Manage branch relocation, consolidation, and network optimization initiatives.

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely operational readiness of new outlets.

• Identify new customer segments and business opportunities to support business growth.

• Monitor branch performance against business targets and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), including Deposits, Advances, CASA, Customer Acquisition, and Profitability.

• Work closely with Regional Heads and Branch Managers to improve business performance and implement growth initiatives.

• Support annual business planning, budgeting, and target-setting for new and existing branches.

• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to strengthen the Bank's market presence.

• Monitor newly established branches and recommend strategies for faster business ramp-up and sustainable growth.

• Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Bank regulations and the Bank's internal policies throughout the expansion process.
