Credit Analyst- SME Credit, CRM Division (PO to SPO)

• Evaluate SME credit proposals submitted by Branches and Relationship Managers in compliance with the stipulated Service Level Agreement (SLA).

• Identify potential financial and non-financial risks, including market dynamics, borrower business cycles, and cash flow adequacy.

• Conduct physical visits to borrowers’ business premises, factories, or collateral properties to verify trade authenticity and security.

• Ensure strict adherence to Bangladesh Bank’s SME Circulars, the Bank’s internal rating system, and Environmental and Social Risk Management (ESRM) guidelines.

• Assess inherent credit risks through document scrutiny and on-site visits, and determine pricing based on the risk profile of each proposal.

• Deliver efficient and timely credit evaluations aligned with the account strategy, risk acceptance criteria, and the Bank’s Risk Appetite Statement.

• Structure credit proposals and terms & conditions to balance customers’ business realities with the Bank’s interests.

• Ensure all recommendations conform to the Credit Policy, internal guidelines, and regulatory requirements of the Bangladesh Bank and other relevant agencies.

• Conduct regular monitoring and periodic reviews of accounts and asset quality, supported by thorough portfolio analysis.

Age 33 to 38 years Minimum 2 to 3 years of specific experience in SME Credit Analysis/Appraisal.Strong analytical skills.Well-versed in the credit risk management guidelines of the Bangladesh Bank.Proficiency in analyzing Financial Statements (Balance Sheets, P&L, Cash Flow) and Ratio Analysis.Familiarity with various SME products (e.g., Seasonal Loans, Women Entrepreneur Loans, CMSME packages).Excellent communication, interpersonal & presentation skills.
