Relationship Manager/ Senior Relationship Manager, Islamic Banking, Medium Busines

Context

This role is responsible for acquiring new Islamic business, providing high level of services, existing account (SME-Medium) renewal, enhancement & portfolio management issues. The role seeks new accounts for achieving a profitable Islamic business portfolio for the business, manages and maintains current Islamic business relationships. The role is also primarily responsible for portfolio health, NPL management & recovery of the stressed/ NPL portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Dedicated to Islamic Banking Business only.

• Identify the target market and develop new business to enrich the portfolio (both deposit and investment).

• Peruse growth opportunity and increase wallet-share of existing business.

• Visit stock of every client once in a quarter.

• Meet budget and maximize the Bank’s earnings opportunities maintaining Shariah Compliance.

• Improve portfolio profitability by earning more fee based income.

• Cross-sell the full spectrum of Bank’s products & Services.

• Negotiate with customers to add good quality assets to the bank’s Islamic portfolio.

• Ensure regular review of portfolio & raise ‘Early Alert’ in case of any deterioration in the portfolio.

• Demonstrate pro-active ownership and expertise in managing credit risk and optimizing risk capital usage.

• Ensure adherence to applicable rules and regulations of both internal policies and Bangladesh Bank policies.

• Ensure Shariah compliance in all transactions.

• Help to manage the Audit & Risk Control Standards associated with the product & sales of Islamic SME-Medium business.

• Develop strong working relations with clients to ensure strong customer satisfaction.

• Earn trusted advisor status by integrating    corporate finance ideas and multi-product solutions to help clients navigate complex capital structure, strategic funding and risk management issues.

• Proactively use financial analysis skills to identify the capital market needs of the client.

Professional certification on Islamic Banking like CSAA, CPSS, CIPA etc. will get preference
