Job Description

Job Context
Mutual Trust Bank PLC (MTB) is seeking energetic and detail-oriented professionals for the position of Associate – Card Operations. The role is responsible for supporting cardholder and merchant onboarding, card maintenance, merchant operations, and day-to-day operational activities while ensuring efficient service delivery, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities

Onboard card customers and merchants in accordance with approved processes, policies, and operational guidelines.
Handle merchant settlement, disputes, and operational queries to ensure timely resolution.
Support card data maintenance and ensure the accuracy and integrity of customer and merchant information.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient service delivery and seamless operational support.
Process assigned operational activities accurately and within established turnaround times.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and cost efficiency.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and operational procedures.
Support card-related operational projects and perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Management.

Job Requirements

1–2 years of experience in Card Operations as a contractual or permanent employee in a bank or financial institution.Sound understanding of card operations, customer onboarding, merchant onboarding, settlement, dispute handling, and related operational activities.Technical knowledge of card-related systems and processes will be considered an added advantage.Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.A proactive mindset with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to delivering quality service
